At Precious Carbon, we want to ensure you have the best experience possible- so we offer free, fully-insured overnight shipping to you once the ring has been set, and also return shipping as well if needed.

We have partnered with FedEx for our delivery service, which provides a trusted, secure and efficient shipping experience. Once your order has shipped from our jewelers, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Diamond and Fine Jewelry Packaging and Shipping Box

Your jewelry will be shipped in a secure, movement-proof jewelry box, securely placed in a beautiful presentation slide box. This packaging assists with keeping your piece safe during its journey to you. In the bottom drawer you will find supporting documentation, if applicable, such as the diamond certificate, appraisal and any other supporting documentation. Please be sure to remove these items and keep them in a safe place. 

All orders are shipped in a discrete, non-branded shipping box- there is no mention of jewelry or other keywords that might otherwise denote its content. This helps to keep your order safe and not ruin any surprises! 

Fully Insured Shipping

All of our orders are shipped securely and fully insured during transit. This offers peace of mind that in the event something happens before delivery, you are covered. Please note- this only covers the transit process, and once the package is signed for, it is no longer insured. 

In order for us to be able to offer this secure, fully-insured option, we DO NOT deliver to P.O. BOXES. You must provide a valid home or business address. If the shipping address is noted as a P.O. Box, we will not be able to process your order until confirmation is received for a new address. This can delay delivery if not provided quickly. 

Please be sure to double check the shipping address, as packages CANNOT be rerouted once shipped due to security reasons.

Damaged Delivery

In the event you receive a package that is damaged or looks tampered with, please do not sign for the package. You may reject the delivery, and the order will be shipped back to Precious Carbon for inspection. This allows us to file a claim with the shipper if there is any concern. 

Signature at Time of Delivery

In order to ensure your order is delivered into the right hands, we do require an adult signature at time of delivery. We are unable to remove this stipulation due to shipping policy. 

Redelivery Attempts

If you are not home on the initial delivery date, FedEx will attempt redelivery an additional 2 times over the next business days. If the order is still not delivered, it will be held at a FedEx package center for an additional 5 business days. If the order is still not picked up within this allotted time, it will be returned to sender (Precious Carbon) and a $50 returned package fee will be applied.

Our customer service team will contact you to proceed with a redelivery, however if this is unsuccessful within 7 business days, you will be refunded your order cost (minus the $50 returned package fee) and your order will fall into a “returned” status.

Alternative Address Shipping

If you are unsure if you’ll be home at the time of delivery, or would like to ensure the surprise, you may contact our customer service team HERE to request your package be held at an approved FedEx Hold For Pick-Up location.

Due to our insurance policies, not all locations will be approved. Our team will do our best to find the closest location to you and confirm the location prior to shipping. You will need to bring an ID that matches the name on the delivery address. The order will not be released to anyone other than that name. 

FedEx Shipping Delays

While our shipper will do their best to deliver on the date noted in your tracking details after shipping, there may be instances where delays arise out of their control.

This can include, but not limited to, severe weather, electrical outages or other unforeseen circumstances. Please keep this in mind especially during the winter season, as many hubs may experience instances of delays that could affect your delivery. 

International Shipping

If you are requesting an order to be shipped internationally, you may do so through the normal check-out screen on our site.

Please note that you will be responsible for any custom and import duties associated with the delivery address. You may find out more details about these requirements from your local customs office. 

No additional import duties, except GST, PST, and HST shall be levied on orders shipped to Australia and Canada. 

Precious Carbon is responsible for collecting relevant duties for all orders shipped to the UK.
